Frequently Asked

Questions

Is Pelvic Health Physiotherapy covered by my insurance provider?

If your insurance provider provides you with Physiotherapy benefits, then you’re covered for Pelvic Health Physiotherapy. We bill under Physiotherapy. However, your insurance company may require a Doctor's referral to be able to complete submissions.

Do you offer direct billing?

Not all insurance companies allow for direct billing. If yours does, we direct bill for you.

Is there parking close by?

Yes, we provide private parking spaces in our parking garage. Look for signs with our business name. If all of our spots are filled, there is plenty of additional visitor parking, as well as nearby street parking on Matthew Gate.

Can I come if I am pregnant?

Yes, unless you have been told that you cannot have intercourse or vaginal exams. In cases where an internal vaginal exam is not possible, we can still assess and treat you using external therapy techniques.

How soon can I come postpartum?

We typically see women 6 weeks postpartum. However, if you are experiencing pain, or unexpected pelvic health symptoms, please book a 15-min phone consultation with one of our Pelvic Health Physiotherapists to determine if you can be seen sooner.

Can I bring my baby?

Yes, we love babies! We have appropriate foam mats for babies to lay/play on.

Can I come to my appointment if I am menstruating?

Yes, you can absolutely come to your appointment if you are menstruating. If you prefer not to attend during your menses, we recommend tracking your cycle, and booking your appointments outside of that time.

Can I book an appointment online?
